Don’t they realize that if we wanted to watch Glenn Beck, we already would?

First off, You are referring to these folks as "people" – they are parrots. They don’t take the time to look deeply into an issue or approach it intellectually, we humans are lazy. The government and media are fully aware of this, and use it to their advantage. Marketing is the biggest cost to politicians & corporations alike – it’s all about the image, not the reality.

As the political pendulum swings left & right, folks swing with it, they don’t respond, but react. Government is never going to be perfect, so there’s always something to criticize from both sides. Mr. Beck, and others from both sides, are using very effective psychology and scare tactics to get our attention – sometimes they are right, for the first 5 words of their statements, then they take it to an extreme to get the shock value and ratings that makes them the big bucks. Moderation and intelligence are boring and don’t get the attention extremists get.

It’s not just Mr. Beck they are parroting, our voting history tells us that we are very selfish people, who tend to look at just one plank of an entire platform. Our "free press" is a joke, I’d rather it be labeled as propaganda and we acknowledge it as it really is.

Your point is very valid, yet it plays out on both sides of the table. Mr. Beck has launched a brilliant marketing campaign, speech tours, books, etc. so he happens to be all over the airwaves and makes more money for the syndicates that carry his show. Not calling him "brilliant", but his marketing has been very effective, same as the most popular infomercials. If these didn’t work & make millions, they would not exist.

Glenn Beck interviews a true Patriot, Ted Nugent that is being harassed repeatedly by the FEDS because they don’t like his outspoken Patriotism.

As you are all no doubt aware, there is a large boycott movement against walmart for pulling their advertising off of Glenn Beck’s show. Do you think they will notice the dip in revenue?>

..im a walmart associate …and yeah i like Glenn Beck too, lol i wasnt even aware there was a boycott..ehh walmart just like any other corporation has had lawsuits , boycotts for whatever reason…some were understandable and some were not…youve heard the say you can please some of the people some of the time , but you cant please all the people all the time…life goes on..there will always be people that hate a certain company for whatever reason : P

Glenn Beck is going to give a speech at the Lincolin Memorial on the anniversary of Dr. Kings "I have a dream" speech, for the promotion of his book "The Plan". I watched Glenn give an interview stating that "God has given me a plan….that really isn’t a plan." Should such a sacred site be allowed to be utilized as a convention center to boast the beliefs of Religeous fundamentalists?

Beck’s giving the speech on the "I have a dream…" anniversary is more than disrespectful. Purposefully insulting the memories of the people who sacrificed so much in the voting and civil rights struggle just to make a buck or to play up to pea-brained, throw-back white viewers isn’t funny and it’s definitely not the right thing to do. The only thing God gave old Glenn is a great sense of showmanship. Too bad God neglected to give him any sense.

Fundamentalists have as much right to use the area as any other group does. But it shouldn’t be used for commercial purposes on an otherwise almost-sacred day.

Glenn Beck talked to Vatican officials and warned Catholics to prepare for battle – good vs. evil.
