I dont think Robert Pattinson sould have played edward cullen. He looked scary, not gorgeous. His hair was everywhere and hes like 25. Do you think he should have played Edward Cullen?

I think they could have found someone better to play Edward. Rob was good, but he could have been much, much better.
And his hair looked horrible in Twilight.
Vampires are supposed to be so beautiful that they’re beyond human.

However, I was watching Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire last night, and he looked absolutely GORGEOUS!

I’m noticing that Robert Pattinson has a british accent only telling by his interviews for twilight looking at Commentaries from eclipse. How does he hide it so well in his acting?

Fresh off his shirtless alone time at the beach, a bearded Robert Pattinson enjoyed an evening out with the guys on Wednesday. Looking cute in his casual look, a leather jacket and baseball cap wearing Rob hit up a Parisian cocktail bar in LA before slipping into the passenger seat of an SUV to head home. While Rob lived it up at new hotspot, the stateside trailer for his upcoming film Bel Am was just released. The film ii is set in Paris and shows a shirtless Mr. Pattinson getting hot and heavy with more than one woman.

I always think that Robert Pattinson isn’t the "best" choice for the role of Edward Cullen. I prefer someone else but don’t know who (hehe)

It seems as though he’s coped alot of slack. As the real Robert Pattinson he didn’t seem the best choice when I first heard/saw he was playing Edward but once I saw him in character in the trailer there seemed little doubt that he was the one for it. Also from interviews about Twilight and behind the scenes stuff he seems very compassionate about the character which can’t be said for Kristen Stewart who plays Bella. She looks the part but once she opens her mouth I’m not so sure? The movie version of her and the book version seem too different, unlike Edward. Part of what makes the actor the character is they way they feel about and from the cast interviews everybody else seems really into it except for her. Sometimes it seems like she doesn’t care or relate at all, and appears cold.
